John Wombwell

Originally from Cambridge, UK, John Wombwell began his career in electronics while serving in the Royal Air Force, where he spent 10 years working on RADAR and missile systems. His career then took him across Saudi Arabia, Canada, the USA, Oman, and Australia, contributing to high-tech industries such as military and civilian RADAR, secure communications, medical equipment design, defence, and rail systems.

 

With over 25 years of experience in component engineering and obsolescence management, he is now focused on promoting proactive approaches to obsolescence mitigation. Nearing retirement, he founded CNX Technology and Innovation Group to share knowledge and best practices in this field, collaborating with experts and leveraging his membership in the International Institute of Obsolescence Management (IIOM) to expand awareness and capability in sustainable obsolescence management.

Kelsey Brown

Kelsey Brown is the Environmental Compliance Advisor at Z2Data, where she leads strategies for environmental laws and ESG regulations, specializing in REACH, RoHS, PFAS, risk analysis, and material chemistry reviews across industries, particularly electronics. With a strong foundation in biology, biochemistry, and lab experience from third-party testing facilities, she also creates educational content through articles, webinars, and other media to promote compliance awareness.

 

A graduate of Northeastern State University with graduate studies at the University of Arkansas, Kelsey is also passionate about scientific outreach in local schools and expresses her creativity as an artist in northwest Arkansas, known for her acrylic paintings and clay sculptures.
